Great news from Brookrock!
Our Brookrock’s Dark Mad Max, son of the world’s most famous darkfoxred male Johnson’s Jumpin’ Jack Flash, is now available as stud dog. The health evaluations could not have been better – he is completely FREE and HEALTHY.
With this particular male dog, we have to go into a little more detail. Max is not just any darkfoxred male. His father made Labrador history! He was supposedly the first Labrador in which the “darkfoxred” color originated.
It took us a lot of courage to breed this expressive, self-confident, yet gentle, calm and composed dog.
The idea of importing Johnson’s Jumpin’ Jack Flash semen from the USA was completely crazy and very risky, even for us. We spent six months considering whether we should really risk the 5-figure costs. Of course we did, because: Nothing ventured, nothing gained!
Unfortunately, there was no male dog in the first litter. Only one puppy was born, a female. Our Brookrock’s Dark Angel Olivia – “Knödel”, a really great bitch. On the second and last attempt he came – our Max. We were more than happy!
For us, Max is the ideal Labrador Retriever. Anyone who has ever seen him live knows what we are talking about. He has a very calm and balanced nature in all everyday situations. He also has a very strong “will to please” and is NOT aloof like most Labradors.
His perfect jet-black pigmentation, which does not change even in winter, also deserves special mention. He also has no black pigmentation spots on his tongue.
For many darkfoxred breeders he is the ideal stud dog to build on the darkfoxred line.
With our many years of breeding experience, meanwhile 30 years, especially with regard to line breeding and our breeding program, which already has a large stock of dogs, we are also at your disposal for calculations (AVK, IK).
